For 28 years, the infamous Berlin Wall stood as a stark divider, slicing through the city and the entire continent. It sundered communities and separated families. However, after the fall of the “anti-fascist protective barrier,” the city now gleams in the brilliance of revitalization, boasting a fusion of architecture, entertainment, shopping, sports, and cultural establishments.
Our fondness for Berlin runs deep, and we take pride in considering it our home. We extend a warm welcome to you in this remarkable locale and are excited about the prospect of showcasing its wonders! Connect with fellow explorers as you delve into Berlin’s narrative, which traces its modest origins as a small fishing village, the might of the Prussian Empire, and certainly the darkest chapters during the malevolent Nazi Third Reich era.
Witness the remnants of the wall that once cleaved the city and restricted the freedom of millions during the Soviet era. Behold the sentinel towers, solemn memorials, and enduring streetlights erected by Stalin’s Soviet regime that still grace the cityscape today.

THE REICHSTAG
Constructed in 1892, the old Reichstag building was set ablaze following an attack in 1933. Today, an impressive glass dome towers over the reconstructed structure, offering a stunning city view, especially at nighttime from the Rooftop Restaurant. Since 1999, the Reichstag has once again housed the German parliament, known as the ‘Bundestag’.
THE BERLIN CATHEDRAL
Located on Museum Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Berlin Cathedral boasts a 75-meter-high dome and stands as one of the most imposing edifices in the city. Following extensive restoration work, Berlin’s largest church, which had been destroyed during the war, has been restored to its grand splendor.
During our excursion, we will also explore the Hohenzollern Crypt, featuring around 100 sarcophagi, coffins, and monuments dating from the 16th to the 20th century.
WWII BATTLEFIELDS
In Seelow, a small town just outside Berlin, 768,000 Soviet soldiers, along with more than 22,000 tanks, artillery pieces, and aircraft, confronted approximately 200,000 German defenders. After intense battles with significant casualties, Germany was ultimately freed from Nazi tyranny.
Our tour highlights include:
- A visit to the Seelow Heights War Museum,
- The exploration of Marshal Zhukov’s command bunker,
- Touring the Soviet and German military cemeteries.
CHECKPOINT CHARLIE
Undoubtedly the most renowned border crossing between East and West Berlin, Checkpoint Charlie is accompanied by a museum that showcases various exhibitions and artifacts tracing the history of the divided city. The museum is located right next to the original guardhouse.
THE REMAINING PIECES OF THE BERLIN WALL
From 1961 to 1989, the Berlin Wall not only divided the city but also the entire country. Today, portions of this graffiti-adorned wall still stand, serving as a somber reminder of the enmity that once separated Europe.
THE BRANDENBURG GATE
The Brandenburg Gate stands as Berlin’s most iconic landmark. Since Germany’s reunification, it has symbolized unity and peace. Today, the largest New Year’s celebration in Germany takes place at the Brandenburg Gate annually.
MEMORIAL TO THE MURDERED JEWS OF EUROPE
Comprising 2,711 concrete blocks, this memorial honors the Jews who perished in Europe. The profound Holocaust memorial also houses an information center displaying original letters, diaries, and photographs belonging to the victims of the Nazi regime.
